VBS Adventure!

     This week, the Nehemiah kids took a journey off the map at VBS! Hosted at First Baptist Church, VBS is one of the biggest events of the year for our kids; and it's definitely a favorite. Around 1300 kids in grades one through six were registered for Vacation Bible School 2015, and 53 of those kids were from the Nehemiah Center. The kids learned to follow the Guide in their lives through lessons, songs, crafts and activities. Some favorites were the daily drama, cloth headbands, and music (we still can't get those songs out of our heads!) But the best part of this week? It's still not over! This Sunday night, First Baptist's evening service will focus in on what God has done in the lives of these kids. We encourage you to come and see! This short week is sure to produce eternal fruit for the kingdom of God, and it would be a blessing for us all if you came at 6:15 and journeyed on the path of righteousness--a path not easily trekked or easily navigated, but definitely worthwhile.
