Last
week, the Nehemiah Center reached a huge goal: we dedicated the Master’s Garden!
It has been such a joy to see all the growth in our community (both literally
and figuratively) and we are so thankful for all the great things God has done.
Many things are happening on Broadway Street, so we invite you to read on, catch
up with our events, and join us in responding to God’s call this summer!
As
mentioned earlier, the Master’s Garden was dedicated last Sunday, and I cannot
tell you what a sweet celebration it was! Powerhouses like Jane Ferguson, Robin
Caddell, and Pastor Jay Wolf gave witness to the many struggles and successes
we faced this past spring; and beautiful music played by Ed Cleveland and Karen
Mullins rang in our project as a working, thriving addition to the Chisholm
community. Around thirty of us heard about the renovations to a new building for
the Nehemiah Center, and we met a new pastor who we hope will open doors with
many of the Hispanic families in Chisholm. Finally, we walked in the garden and
saw for ourselves what many hands have done in the Master’s Garden!
As you will see in these photos, our garden is growing. Our harvest will be huge. Now it's up to us to reap what has been sown in our community, and we hope you will be here with us!
